Funny but not the best !!
I was struck by choices of some irrelevant characters in the movie. But since having a childish theme I guess such deep things shouldn't be touched. Overall was a light movie and enjoyed the flick. Would recommend you all to go for this light hearted movie and am sure you will enjoy.

It was my favorite movie of toy Story franchise. The movies are all superb. Showcasing the emotions through toys. Laughed a lot. The comedy was superb. This movie is more enjoyable from adult's perspective. The VFX is top notch. The story line is simple and good enough to keep you engaged throughout. Just grab a popcorn and enjoy the show.

The movie was good !! Smooth from start to finish. Addition by subtraction as new characters and plots were brought into play. Woodys maturation shines in this film, it was a great dive into Woodys character as a sheriff and leader of the Toys. It also starts the passing of the baton to the new toys. It is ultimately Woody’s story and how much he loved his position as Andy’s #1 toy. It utilizes the toys as a metaphor for parents and gives light to the protective side of parents even though they are toys. The story brings up the concept of legacy, and really deep fundamentals and concepts that will get the adults thinking while the kids are just enjoying the toys do toy things. Loved every moment of the movie. Pixar pays tribute to its beloved beginnings and closes its main story line while leaving the door open for another story and expansion on Bonnie’s story.

It might be hard to admit from a faithful toy's perspective, but nothing lasts forever. Even a great little deputy like Sheriff Woody's beloved Andy has to grow up at some point. And taking a box of toys off to college, and beyond, doesn't always work so well. So grown-up Andy shares his prized possessions—Woody, Buzz Lightyear, Jessie the cowgirl and all the rest—with a rambunctious little girl named Bonnie. Of course, Woody understands Andy's choice. It's hard, but he gets it. He also understands that his former position as the toy-box leader is now somebody else's job: It now belongs to a dolly … named Dolly. But even though he's often overlooked at playtime or dropped in the closet with dust bunnies and forgotten playthings, Woody is still the most loyal, most faithful, most earnest plaything of them all. So when he sees that Bonnie is anxious about her first day of kindergarten, Woody sneaks into her backpack to make sure her day goes well. And he even secretly helps her build a toy during craft time at school: a gussied-up little spork made with clay and pipe cleaners. She joyfully names it Forky. Problem is, Forky wakes up a little confused after Bonnie crafts him. Bonnie sees Forky as a beloved toy, a symbol of comfort in a stressful world. But Forky sees himself as what he was originally created to be: an eating utensil to be thrown out after being used. His place, he feels, is the trash can. So when Bonnie isn't looking, Forky spontaneously scampers for the nearest garbage receptacle. "Trash!" he yells gleefully. "TRASH!" So it's up to Woody to drag him back. For Bonnie's sake. That's Woody's job. You see, duty to your kid is a toy's paramount purpose. And that's true even when your kid … doesn't really care all that much about you anymore.

Toy Story 4 is a great movie. The movie will take you on an emotional rollercoaster. The plot is intriguing, the story is powerful, the themes are strong and in the end the movie succeeds in delivering a message that'll resonate with people of all ages. Just the way most of Pixar movies do. I wouldn't go much into detail about the plot but let me say this. If toy story 3 was about growing up, toy story 4 is about listening to your inner voice and following your heart. This theme was present in past movies obviously, but it's presence is stronger in this one. The movie definitely took me on a feels trip and left me with some valuable life lessons. When you watch it, I hope you get those lessons too and I hope, you carry them with you. The movie is too much emotional for kids.

Amazingly there are still new stories in the relationship between a child and its menagerie of playthings. This installment brings us the theme of the midlife crisis — that critical tipping point when the solid citizen begins to feel the chill wind of his own irrelevance. It might not seem a sound premise for a movie aimed at ten-year-olds but that’s where Woody is at now. He and the gang are domiciled with Bonnie, last seen taking possession of Andy’s old toys as he headed to college. Poor old Woody is rarely plucked from the cupboard and his sheriff badge belongs to Jessie the cowgirl. Woody has always been confident about his place in the world and that his priority is taking care of his kid, whether that's Andy or Bonnie. But when Bonnie adds a reluctant new toy called "Forky" to her room, a road trip adventure alongside old and new friends will show Woody how big the world can be for a toy. Toy Story 4 did the impossible by following a seemingly perfect ending of the series in Toy Story 3 to a character driven, humorous and impactful joy ride. An absolute must watch. To Infinity & Beyond .. Must watch ! Parental Guidance : Not required Overall rating : 4.5/5 Narration could have been improved

With Toy Story 4 picking up a couple years after Woody (Tom Hanks), Buzz (Tim Allen), and the rest of the gang were re-homed to new owner Bonnie, a road trip is in order to ease the young girl’s worries about starting kindergarten. Through a series of mishaps that lead to new pal Forky (Tony Hale) going AWOL on vacation, Woody is reunited with his long lost love Bo Peep (Annie Potts) and thrown into his greatest adventure yet. As Toy Story 4 starts out, it feels like the standard comic misadventure that we’ve seen time and time again throughout the series that made Pixar what it is today. And it’s entertaining enough in those phases, as it feels like the nostalgia wheels are spinning in full gear, delivering a pleasing throwback that will keep kids that have latched onto the series in later years happy. Kids can marvel at Buzz Lightyear in action, while parents and older audience members can revel in Randy Newman’s heroic theme for his character making a reappearance. If only the more mature audience members knew that this is a gentle diversion, which leads to the film’s ultimate purpose: redefining what a Toy Story can, and should, be. Part of this is through the Woody/Bo Peep relationship drama, as the liberated Bo challenges the still-domesticated Woody’s school of thinking. Making Hanks and Potts’ classic characters the new focal point of the film’s narrative is a bold move, and it pays off, as their chemistry only heightens the drama involved in their separation through a flashback, and their push and pull between differing viewpoints in the present. But, of course, a new Toy Story means new toys! And Toy Story 4 introduces several new playmates that add some brand new colors to the box of crayons we’re used to seeing this series color with. Comic relief characters like Keanu Reeves’ Duke Kaboom, as well as the Ducky/Bunny pair of Keegan Michael-Key and Jordan Peele, add that sparkling energy that pushes the film along in the best way possible. One particular gag with that new double act of stuffed animals is something so funny, it actually causes tear-inducing laughter. As for Duke, his tragic backstory, mixed with a unique brand of Canadian moxey, continues to bring the world ample evidence that Keanu Reeves is having quite the moment in his career. Most impressive though is the addition of Toy Story 4’s would-be villain, Gabby Gabby, voiced by Christina Hendricks. Without ruining the story, it can be said that Gabby’s arc starts out like the typical toy-turned-heel, but as her character develops, she turns into a Toy Story bad guy that marks new territory for adversarial toys in the franchise. Hendricks infuses this character with just the right ambiguity between menace and kindness that you think she’s going one way, which only leads to the complete opposite direction being the truth. At the heart of Toy Story 4, there’s a story about knowing when it’s time to let go, which strangely enough comes packaged in the third sequel to a modern movie classic. But that message is played out with such empathy and thought in this film that it acts as a perfect finale to the series. In all honesty, this film should have been the third in the original trilogy of films, as the decisions in this film render Toy Story 3 practically obsolete. If Disney/Pixar really wanted to, they could use Toy Story 4 as a continuation of the franchise, but it’s heavily advised that they don’t. While Toy Story 3 before it delivered what felt like closure at the end of its events, it’s really the story of Toy Story 4 that properly seals the deal for this toy box of legendary friends. The film wraps everything up with beautiful precision, and takes the themes that its predecessor played around with, but uses them more seriously. Toy Story 4 is a treat for children and a delight for parents and older audience members who venture out to see it; as it is nothing short of magical.

Woody now in Bonnie's possession sets off an adventurous journey with the rest of the toy gang. Toy story series is the best example that the Hollywood has ability to bring life and make audience believe that to be true with this movie, by bringing life to the toys. Director promptly pulls the toy story into action mode by making them go on a road trip. The movie brilliantly captures the films mission to show the bond between a child and the toy.

No matter how old I'm gonna get, I can never get bored of Toy Story. The movie was totally worth the wait. I have been waiting for it for so long. The emotions, the dialogues, the visuals, everything makes the movie a wonderful experience. If you are going to the theatre with kids, then you're going to enjoy it more by watching the cute little expressions of them. Some scenes were overly dramatic and made me a bit yawn, but more or less it was a good watch. :)

Toy Story has always been a franchise that isn’t afraid to address hard topics and the new addition is no different. The animated world of living toys has a more human story to tell than many live-action films and what’s more human than existential dread? Woody has fulfilled his purpose as Andy’s toy and Bonnie doesn’t need him as much. So when he encounters a new world of possibilities opened by Bo Peep who has been living independently, he is forced to think about the next step in his life as a toy. The most interesting dynamic of Toy Story 4 is between Woody and Forky – one is a former favorite toy who’s afraid of becoming trash while the other desperately wants to be trash instead of a favorite toy.Toy Story 4 is one of the best films of the year that can be enjoyed with virtually no age limit. You don’t even need to have seen the previous films to enjoy it and fans of the trilogy will love seeing how the characters develop on this road trip adventure. Toy Story 4 is a wonderful watch that will fill you with a warm feeling and happy memories – you’ll always have a friend in it.

This film, the 4th installment of the Toy Story 4 series, is a wonderful, yet action-packed adventure that kids will enjoy! It follows Forky; a new friend that Bonnie made at school. This movie continues on from the 3rd one, so there may be some slight references to past/older movies in the series.. There are some scenes with "dolls" that may be scary for younger children. A scene where a lonely child is shown hidden in the back of a barn, crying. A girl drops her toy and runs off, many other chasing scenes inside an antique store

Toy Story 4 has some good moments, but the storyline was lacking, jumping from sub-plot to sub-plot. The central plot of Woody's purpose got lost in the shuffle and the movie ended terribly. It left my son bawling tears of sadness. Where Toy Story 3 had a great ending to the series

This movie is a woody adventurus journey along with the other toy gang after coming into the bonnies possession. The introduction of some new characters like forky has helped improving the fun in the movie and also helped to raise the standard of the movie. Tom hanks voice to woody is a fabulous set and woody is never felt like a toy. Buzz light year and Bo peep got more screen time compared to other toys in the gang. Toy story 4 not only stays relevant with the old movies but also elevates the franchise business.

This is the weakest Toy Story film. It felt as an excuse to explain Boop absence during past movie, as well as to fill some feminist agenda. The worse is that it ends up making the characters untrue to themselves. How come Woody and Buzz whom are very intelligent and resourceful in every past movie are unable to come up with the most basic strategy. But the female like toys solve every problem. The comedy it's fine I guess, however you can feel it isn't as brilliant and clever as it was.

A brilliant movie! The animation was excellent, the voice acting was good and the story was great. My only problem with the story was that a lot of the other toys who had big roles in older films were left with nothing to do. I would've given them a small side plot at the carnival or something as they were kind of pointless. I also thought they did well in mixing humour and sadness. I enjoyed the humour a lot.Overall an excellent film.

Toy Story 4 wraps up the storyline for Woody & Buzz in the heartbreaking, fun, fresh and filled with a touch of comedy storyline. But it’s not the end for the characters... is it ? There are so many more adventures left to see! (I hope) The franchise never disappoints and haven’t even once! The film always gave me the feeling that ‘How much can one toy (Woody) take?’ Toy Story 4 is a must watch and it’s a film that crushes you and crawls inside of you and doesn’t disappoints. You won’t leave with tears and a smile on your face cause this film is that good! The upgrade to the animation also captures the spotlight! If you are a fan of Disney films or haven’t seen one yet? Toy Story 4 will make your day but you won’t understand the bond of love in these movies if you haven’t seen the first 3! Mark my words and have a look!

Toy Story is yet another gem in the series of films. I really loved the film and thoroughly enjoyed it. I went to the theatre with my niece and she adored the film. There were many cherishable and heartwarming moments throughout the film. It felt to me a little bore in the mid, but it was not for much longer. I really want some of the animated flicks to be made entirely for India and by Indians so that this horrendous dubbing can be avoided. Other than that, it was great. :)

I expected nothing but greatness, and that’s exactly what I got. This was 100 minutes of your favorite toys finding themselves in action-packed, heart-wrenching scenarios time and time again. Woody’s seemingly selfish actions have proved annoying in every single Toy Story film, but the audience always knows that, deep down, he means well. That’s what his friends had to remind themselves every time Woody jumped into action in part four.

Offering satisfying emotional closure to Pixar's popular 'Toy Story' franchise, the series' most cinematic installment yet goes deep as Buzz and Woody adjust to life after Andy. Sad to say I was very disappointed with this movie. 2 & 3 exceeded their predecessors...which is saying A LOT. Toy Story 4 lacks the charm of the previous three films. Rex, Hamm, Slinky, and the Potatoheads are hardly there. Jessie says a couple lines, one of which is a very bad pun after popping the RV tire. Bullseye does nothing. These side characters had always had great presence - but here not at all. New characters were a highlight. Gabby Gabby had a great arc. The usage of the dummies was flawless. Duke Caboom and Bo Peeps other friends were good. Ducky and Bunny were great, but humor felt forced. And forky...wasn't as bad as I expected, but still bad- but I'll be in the minority on him. And Buzz...poor Buzz was reduced to a running gag of (literally) pushing his buttons to get advice from himself. It was funny at first, but wore off quickly. Buzz is my favorite. He's always been smart and confident ever since his realization that he is a toy. The gag made him seem like he never knew what to do. And the end was just terrible. YOU DO NOT SPLIT WOODY AND BUZZ. I just can't. It's not the ending Andy would've wanted, especially for Woody. They totally disregarded Andy asking Bonnie to take care of him. What was a picture perfect ending of 3 was thrown to the wayside. The themes of finding purpose, feeling useful, and coming to terms with the stage of life your in ARE great themes Pixar should dive into. I just don't think the Toy Story franchise was the right place to present them. Two out of Five.

I am a die hard Toy Story fan. Toy story 3 made me cry. Everyone knows woody is all about his kid no matter what when Andy grew up he was gonna live in the attic just to be there for Andy. He told bonnie this is his most special Toy and she loved woody. All the sudden she just doesn't like him anymore and never plays with him which is weird in itself. So he leaves. I was not a fan of how it ended and how the original toys were barely in it. Wish it had the magic of Toy Story 3.

The disaster, in this case, is 2019’s Summer of Sequelae, as dismal a movie season as audiences can remember as one spinoff has followed the other with a graceless thud. Thankfully, “Toy Story 4” arrives just in time to redeem filmgoers’ faith, if not in humanity, then at least in the humaneness of inanimate creatures who have more heart, pluck and conscience in their plastic pinkies than most real-life adults. Toys are people, too! A diverting, visually dazzling concoction of wily schemes and daring adventures, “Toy Story 4” achieves that something that eludes most sequels, especially this far into a series: a near-perfect balance between familiarity and novelty, action and emotion, and joyful hellos and more bittersweet goodbyes.

Toy Story might just be the most consistent film franchise in history, the fourth entry in the series delivering another insightful family fable. The most memorable Pixar films manage to appeal to children and adults in equal measure, and Toy Story has always excelled at navigating this tricky tightrope. Woody is both a child’s plaything and a father figure, a character both age groups can project themselves onto.

I have never written a review about a movie, but after watching Toy Story 4 with my children last night, I knew I must! Let me express my children's opinions. My 2 and 3 year old watched the entire film without disturbing anyone. Both children expressed emotion with the characters. My 2 year old loved Forky! My 3 year old teared up when Gabbi Gabbi told her story. Both children sang "You've got a friend in me" all the way home last night. Both were still talking about the movie this morning as well. My 9 year old said it was the best out of all 4 Toy Story movies!!!! She loved the adventure, the emotional moments as well as the ending. My 15 year old also said that it was the best of the 4. As we left the theater, he asked if we could buy the DVD, "... Cause I'm gonna want to watch it again and again!" He got so excited during the movie in each moment of challenge and adventure. He also agreed it ended sad, but was understandable. You see, my children were not born to me. I adopted them this year. From their point of view, Toy Story 4 was a comfort because change happens, it's unavoidable! But not all change is bad. Sometimes change must happen for life to continue to the fullest and everyone to find lasting peace and joy. Sure, separation is painful and sad, but it doesn't have to be bad. My crew and I see it as a new chapter that we can't wait to enter! If this is the last Toy Story, we're OK with that! if another comes out....well, we can't wait to see what adventures happen next!! Thank you, Pixar, for producing a movie that my children could relate to on every level! Go see it, and look at it through the eyes of a child. I entered my 2 year old son's room this morning and heard this.... "Not trash, Forky! It's ok!" Message received. Thanks Disney!!!!!!!

Everything else was okay. But the ending was sad. Just as I feared, it was just like Ralph and Vanellope going separate ways, so Woody stays behind with Bo. I mean Woody still has Bonnie's name on his boot, and now he leaves. Could have been better by having Bo join Woody to live with Bonnie. The first time Pixar had disappointed me. But everything else was great. Just wished the ending was better

Toy Story 4 is really a good movie. It gives us a brand new surprises and takes us on another fun journey as Woody tries to save the day again. The film also utilizes our familirity with the characters to the point where it doesn't feel the need to develop them much at all. Infact there aren't nearly as many iconic moments in the Toy story 4 as it's predecessors.

Toy Story 4 was so much fun! I hate to compare it to its predecessors because I feel as if each Toy Story film is very unique from the last. The fourth film in this franchise is no different. Don't go in expecting a continuation of Toy Story 3. Go in expecting Toy Story 4. It's something unique and brand new. While the storyline still had its heart wrenching moments, I feel as if Pixar had more fun creating this summer blockbuster. There wasn't as much pressure on Pixar to get it right as there may have been ahead of the third film, but they still managed to get it right nonetheless. The character development for these new characters was flawless. Each new character was given a solid backstory and the questions that we might have had about certain returning characters were all answered in entertaining and innovative new ways. In addition, this film was absolutely hilarious and by far the funniest in the series. Pixar did a great job of knocking down the fourth wall and addressing things that us audience members have probably asked at some point during the franchise's long history. If you are a Pixar fan, good news. This film is riddled with Easter eggs, but don't worry, I'm not going to spoil them for you. Lastly, I just want to say that I was very touched that Pixar not only dedicated the film to the late Don Rickles (aka Mr. Potato Head), but also to the late great Pixar animator, Adam Burke, who passed away in October 2018 from cancer. All in all, this film was a great tribute to Pixar through its exciting new ways of storytelling, historic Easter eggs, heart wrenching and comedic moments, beautiful score, and of course the characters we all know and love. I am truly going to miss this franchise. Thank you Pixar, for all the memories.

Much of “Toy Story 4” is great-ish. The animation is striking, the jokes amusing and the story sweet, though this being Pixar, the tale is also melancholic enough that the whole thing feels deeper than it is. In other words, the movie is exactly what you expect — not more, not less — from an estimably well-oiled machine like Pixar. It seems almost greedy to want something better, less familiar.

Absolutely fantastic..!! Perfect way to end such a dazzling and wondering franchise. I loved Forky & Gabby Gabby. Not as cheerful as the other 3 Toy Story films, but more tear dropping. The main cast aside from Woody barely played a part in the movie. The ending wasn’t the most satisfying end to the franchise though.
